If you did not attend any of our Registration Days held last week (August 18-22, 2014), you must come in to the school office to complete the necessary registration paperwork for your student! All students, both new and returning, must register EACH YEAR at their school site. For new students, please be sure to bring a copy of their immunization records. Any 7th graders missing proof of their Tdap booster shot must provide this record or risk being excluded from attending school by State law.
Flyers and order forms will be sent home as the date gets closer. All students will have their pictures taken during their PE class on that day. This photo will be used for their student ID card which all students receive free of charge. To order portrait packages, parent must send completed order forms and payment with their student on September 8th. Students should give order forms directly to the photographer when their picture is taken in PE that day.
AC Transit removed the requirement for a photo ID on Youth Clipper cards making it much easier to get a card. Families can now apply by mail, email, or fax (or still in person at the downtown Oakland AC Transit office). On July 1, AC Transit will implement significant fare changes, including introducing a Day Pass and eliminating transfers. New discounts will be offered on Clipper.
