C-o-n-g-r-a-t-u-l-a-t-i-o-n-s to the winners of our Montera spelling bee: Max Gochman (6th grade) and Sarah Siegal (7/8th grades). They will be representing Montera at the District Spelling Bee on Thursday, February 18th. For 6th graders, Aidan Rocha took 2nd place and Ben Ereneta placed 3rd. For 7 & 8th grades, congratulations to Marley Byles (2nd place),and John Nguyen and Aaliyah Sibanda (3rd place tie). Way to go!

The 2016 Montera Baseball season is starting now! Any boys or girls interested in playing for the Toros are encouraged to tryout. Students should get a sign-up form from Coach Holmes in Room 303 and return it to him by Thursday. There will be two rounds of tryouts. The first round of tryouts will be held after school on Friday, February 5, from 3:30-5:30. A call back list will be posted, and those players will attend a second round of tryouts on Friday, February 12 after school. For full details, please click on icon to the left.
